It is by God’s grace that Sarah Oyando is still alive after being diagnosed with a rare condition that is expensive to treat and difficult to manage. Today, she is living her life one day at a time, as she narrated to MWAURA MUIGANA.

“I started dating my fiancée in 1995 when I was at USIU pursuing a degree in IT and marketing. During our courtship, I got pregnant with twins but at five months I had a stillbirth. Doctors allowed me to view my two dead babies. The experience was traumatising. The good advice from a counselor was that I organise a burial ceremony for the babies in order to have some closure and cope with the loss.
