Meet the cover models: December 2013

Gracing this month’s cover are Nicholas and Anne Obare, and their one-year-old son Hadriel Colson Obare. Nick, 35, is a monitoring and evaluation specialist at a local NGO while Anne, 28, is doing her M.A. in Counselling Psychology at Daystar University.

In the two-and-a half years Nick and Anne have been married, they have learnt numerous lessons including forgiveness and respect towards one another and working as a team. Marriage is good, they say. It takes two people to make a marriage and as long as both are committed to making it work, with God as the foundation, it will. They have found their brief experience as parents both fun and challenging and intend to be the best parents they can be, by God’s grace.
