Her children, Danny Victor and Sky Victor, stood before family and friends to honour the woman who held their world together, with laughter, with adventure, with guidance, and with a love they describe as unforgettable.

Danny’s Tribute: A Son’s Love That Words Can Barely Hold

“Mum, you’re my whole world,” Danny began, a line that immediately set the tone for his heartfelt farewell. His voice trembled as he painted a picture of a mother who always showed up. Not just physically, but emotionally and wholeheartedly.

“You’re the one I could call anytime. You would show up with love. Sometimes, even with KFC in your hands,” he shared, prompting small smiles in a room full of tears. These simple gestures, he said, made him feel loved and seen.

He remembered the spontaneous trips, the little adventures that his mother planned with excitement and affection.
“Those trips made me feel so special,” he said. “I love how you called my name, how you made me laugh, and how your hugs made everything feel great again.”

Danny promised to live in a way that honours her legacy of kindness, joy, and unconditional love.
“I will look after Dad and my sister, just as you always wanted… Thank you, Mum, for loving me so completely… I will love you forever.”

Sky’s Tribute: A Daughter’s Honest, Emotional Reflection

Sky walked up with a composure that only daughters who shared a deep bond with their mothers can understand. She carried her tribute in her hands, words she had written just hours before, guided solely by emotion.

“Today is my mother’s memorial,” she began softly. “I don’t want it to be a sad day, because today is a day to remember all the beautiful memories of her.”

She acknowledged that their mother-daughter relationship, like many, had its ups and downs.
“Sometimes she made me so angry to a point I questioned her love for me,” she admitted. “But fights come and go, and when they did, my mum turned into the happiest and funniest person.”

“All the funny content you would see me doing online was all her amazing plan. She supported my dreams, even the ones that didn’t make sense.”

“I didn’t even cry. I thought everyone was pranking me… It hit me when I saw the sad, worried faces looking at me.”
She remembers feeling her world collapse when she saw her mother’s body , still and quiet after so much fighting.

“Before she died, I prayed so many times. I fasted. She was my mum.”
