WHAT BECAME OF the Good Samaritan?

Saturday July 9, 2016. We have left a friend’s house in Limuru where there was a thanksgiving ceremony and are driving on the Naivasha/Nakuru highway to link up with friends at Lake Elementaita for the rest of the weekend.  My husband is on the wheel. As soon as we pass the Gilgil town turn-off, he notices a message on the car’s diagnostic screen – ABS failure! Sure enough, the breaks have failed! Luckily, it is a straight stretch of the road and he is able to steer the car safely off the road and manoeuver it to a stop. God, our protector, was with us as this could have happened down hill and at speed, or where the road did not have a shoulder.
