That said, there are several ways that you can help your body ward off infections and illnesses. Here are six ways you can boost your body’s natural immunity.

Exercise in moderation

Exercising in moderation through jogging, swimming, cycling or walking boosts the immunity by encouraging the regeneration of healthy cells. Take care to not overdo it as it can compromise your natural defenses. Exercising for about 20 minutes daily is recommended.

Drink lots of water

This consequently strengthens the body’s immunity. Curbing sugar intake also reduces the risk of diseases such as heart disease and diabetes.
