Container house on cliff-Kajiado, Rift valley

It is a large open space which is fully stocked. The house is completely off-grid and so is the perfect escape for those looking forward to relax. The house really suits those who like nature, having fun and love being in the middle of nowhere. Whole point of the house is to be off-grid and to use as little as possible hence the power is switched off at 10:00 pm and comes on at 6am.One might be surprised about how much you like the darkness. The place goes for $120 (Ksh13,176) per night.‌‌                           ‌

Family room-Banda

Each Banda has a private courtyard with both shower and ensuite toilet and is perfect for a group of four friends or family members. Each Banda contains one large double bed and one set of bunk beds. It is located in Kilifi County at a very pocket friendly price of Ksh2500 per night per person.                                      

Brandy bus

It is an old but fully-furnished double decker bus that you can rent for the night to experience that van life. It is located in Karen about 20 km from Nairobi and is very close to the giraffe centre, the elephant orphanage and much more making it the perfect place to spend a few days. The bus can be booked for $80 (Ksh8,784) per night but the prices vary on weekends and with the number of guests.‌‌‌‌

The Olurur House

If you appreciate scenic views, this is the place to be. The house was built on a cliff overlooking the great rift valley which is well known for its scenic views and the drive is 2 hours from Nairobi. If you plan to be there for one night you will pay Ksh12,200. But if you want to be there for two nights, you will pay Ksh11,000 per night.‌                                        

The Ark Lodge

Located inside the Aberdare National Park in Nyeri, the hotel is a true animal sanctuary and home to so many elephants. Located right beside a salt lick,the hotel is the perfect location to see some wild animals.‌‌ If you are excited by such, a trip to the Ark Lodge is really worth it.‌‌
