Rugby players Frank Wanyama and Alex Olaba sentencing has been postponed to Friday August 16th. The two players allegedly raped a lady (W.A) in an apartment in High rise, Nairobi county, impregnating her during the incident, will be held in custody till then.

In her submission, W.A said that she took a test the following morning after the incident but did not report it to the police until she realized she was pregnant and on reaching out to Wanyama he refused to take responsibility.

This prompted the lady to post screenshots of their conversations on Twitter which elicited mixed reactions leading to the arrest of the two players.

Demanding money

However, the two players claimed that the sexual encounter was consensual and that the lady decided to start demanding money from them after the incident
