A man in Nyandarua has killed his wife and dumped her body in a pit latrine after cutting it into pieces. The man identified as Peter Ng’ang’a was later lynched by a mob leaving behind four children.
Peter is alleged to have been assisted by some unidentified people in beating up Wanjiru, 36 and dragging her to the maize field where they killed her. The husband later fled to Gilgil in Nakuru where a mob killed him.
“The couples 13-year old daughter reported the incident the police claiming that the father told them their mother had travelled to see their grandmother in Miharati,” confirmed Kipipiri subcounty police commander Ireri Mwaniki.
“We followed the blood stains to a pit latrine in a nursery school nearby and found the other body parts apart from the head,” he further revealed.
Residents have claimed that Ng’ang’a was among a group of thieves who have been stealing livestock from them and that he had killed his wife after what is alleged to be a betrayal by reporting him to the police.
