The cover models this month are Peter Macharia, 40, and Anne Nyawira, 37, who have been married for 12 years. Anne is an English and Literature teacher at Githunguri Technical and Secondary School while Peter is a Rector at the Institute of Advanced Technology (IAT), Thika Road Campus.
They have three daughters, June Nyawira, 11, Precious Wanjiku, seven and Quincy Wambui, four. The couple met at Kenyatta University where they both pursued Bachelor of Education degrees in English-Literature and History respectively. Read more about their life in the Marriages That Last column.
