Romance without finance – How to charm her on a low budget

  • PublishedJanuary 16, 2020

It is just the first month of the year and the bank accounts don’t look all too healthy. And February is just an extension of January so… how are you going to show your loved one a good time? Truth is, you do not have to empty your bank to show how romantic you are. Romance without finance is very possible! Here is how to charm her on a low budget:

Go bowling

Bowling is an interesting activity to partake in and it’s more fun if you’re beginners because you’ll learn together. One of the cheapest bowling places in Kenya is Village Market. They charge Ksh 350 per person on weekdays from 10am to 4pm; and Ksh500 per person from 4pm and weekends. Don’t forget to carry a pair of socks because you’ll have to change into bowling shoes.

Take her out on a movie

This is recommended if you don’t want to have long conversations or are just too shy to talk to her. One of the most popular theaters is IMAX and they charge fair prices depending on the movie and the time of day. The prices can be anywhere from Ksh200 to Ksh700 per person. They also sell small snacks which are pocket friendly.

Take a walk on the beach

If you are fortunate enough to live near the beach, then why not take advantage of that. You guys could take long strolls on the sandy beach or take part in water activities such as swimming, boat riding or deep sea diving. Walking on the beach is budget-friendly.

Zip lining

If you are a daredevil who likes adventure and adrenaline-filled activities, then try zip lining. The cheapest place where they offer zip lining is Machakos. The zip line is 30 feet above the ground, 200m and 300m long. They charge Ksh 500 and entrance to Machakos People’s Park is free.

Try out a new recipe at home

You can look for an interesting recipe, buy the ingredients and cook together. You can also try out cuisines of different countries and cultures. It’s a cheap activity that can be fun, especially if the food turns out good.

You will be amazed how the things that seem small make the biggest impression. At the end of the day, it is the thought that really counts! Romance without finance is still romance!
