Why These Natural Holiday Brews Are Best For The Family
  • PublishedDecember 22, 2025

The holiday season is packed with so much flavor. It is a flurry of nutrition that leaves us with a lot of dietary resolutions in the year to come. Here are brews that’ll do less harm and more good this holiday season.

Apple Cider

Yes, I know what you’re thinking. Is apple cider an appropriate drink to enjoy with the whole family? The answer is yes.
Based on the way it is prepared, apple cider can be either alcoholic (hard cider) or non-alcoholic. The latter is purely unfiltered apple juice with a few additives.
If the goal is to share a flat or fizzy drink with family, friends, or young ones, this brew is the one for you.

Hot Chocolate

Hot chocolate is a familiar concept. A drink that you can have first thing in the morning or as you move up and about. Nothing too special.
The holidays are about joy and recollection, depending on the mood you’re in. Your hot chocolate cup could reflect that. Vanilla essence, whipped cream, marshmallows.
A custom-made cup of hot chocolate might just be what you need to spice up the holidays.

Chai

From South Asia to Africa, White or Black. This leafy brew is here to stay, keep us warm this holiday season, and improve our digestion.
From strawberry and vanilla to black tea or Earl Grey, you can’t quite go wrong with this brew, especially if it is a family affair.

Java Dawa

Lemon, ginger, honey. Dare I say more? Java Dawa is a renowned Kenyan brew that relieves you from symptoms of cold and flu and aids in digestion. When taken, its minty aromatic nature provides a unique aftertaste.
Although it comes in an original classic flavor, turmeric, cinnamon, cardamom, and mint will help the holiday food go down a little easier.

Miti Dawa

As far as traditional brews go, Miti Dawa is the most common; contrary to its counterpart, this is obtained from specific trees that are stripped of their essence through boiling. It goes well with meals and rewards the body with its raw nutrients. It also aids the liver and kidneys in flushing toxic chemicals from the body.
With that in mind, here are the beverages that you and your family can incorporate into your diet this holiday.
