Child-Free, Marriage-Free: Lydia Wanjiru on Choosing Her Own Path

Lydia Wanjiru has openly affirmed her decision to remain both child-free and marriage-free, emphasising that her life choices are intentional and personal.

In a recent video, Lydia shared that while she is open to love and companionship, she does not plan to formalise a relationship through marriage. On the subject of children, she explained that her decision is partly influenced by cosmetic surgery she underwent, as well as her experiences observing parents with sick children in hospitals, a situation that left a lasting impression on her.

“I am okay being the rich auntie,” Lydia said, highlighting that she is content living life on her own terms and embracing a lifestyle that works for her.

Lydia’s story is a reminder that choices around marriage and parenthood are deeply personal and that it is possible to live a fulfilling life outside traditional expectations.
