M-Pesa will be unavailable for 5 hours on Tuesday

Safaricom’s M-Pesa will be unavailable on Tuesday from 12 to 5 am due to scheduled maintenance.

During that time, all M-Pesa services will be unavailable including purchasing of airtime.

“Our MPESA shall be undergoing planned maintenance tonight Monday 6th July 2020, starting from 2359hrs to 0500hrs. During the maintenance, all M-Pesa services including airtime purchase shall be temporarily unavailable,” reads part of the notice to its customers.

According to the notice, the timing of the maintenance was picked to minimize inconveniences to its customers.

This will be the second M-Pesa maintenance this month and the fifth in a span of 30 days.
