Stolen one-month-old baby reunited with his mother

Bella Achieng Ogolla who had abducted a one-month-old baby from his mother at a salon in Homa Bay has been arrested by detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI).

The detectives had been searching for three weeks, a search which successfully culminated in the re-union of the baby with his mother Benta Acheng.

So far, investigations by the detectives revealed that the suspect had convinced her husband that she was pregnant. She had thereafter met the mother of the child in hospital days before she delivered. She then hatched a plan to steal the baby, which she did when the baby was one month old.  

Apart from the question of exactly how Bella was able to steal away a one-month-old baby at  a salon, the other mystery remains how she had managed to convince her husband, Bernard Okello, that she was pregnant and had finally born him a son.
